2024
Following the launch of Isola Design Group’s (www.isola.design) first-ever regional headquarters, located in Dubai Design District (d3), the Italian design company presents the programme of exhibitions and events for its third participation in the Dubai Design Week (www.dubaidesignweek.ae) which will take place in the d3 from 5 to 10 November 2024.
With more than 85 exhibitors, brands, and design studios from all over the world, Isola will shake the Dubai design scene with two main events: Design Next, the key event hosted in partnership with d3, and a collective show at Downtown Design fair. Isola will also host in the district the award ceremony of Isola Design Awards 2024 at d3 Building 6 within the global creative ecosystem by TECOM Group PJSC.
Isola Design will participate in Downtown Design fair with a selection of independent designers and contemporary design studios from around the world with a focus on collectible design.
The booth’s unique exhibition setup is inspired by the works of Italian architect Aldo Rossi. It will feature basic architectural elements that honor collective memory and local identities. The lateral areas will host design studios and galleries from diverse countries such as Rarares Gallery, Boo Design Studio, Pinboard Media, while the central area will present a global collective of design pieces.
The booth will boast a sustainable design thanks to the partnership with Caracol and Armourcoat. Caracol, a leader in large-format additive manufacturing, will provide 3D-printed elements, and Armourcoat will create pedestals and separation walls, using their luxury finishes, crafted from eco-conscious materials combining aesthetic elegance with environmental responsibility.
