For this year’s series of bottles, I was inspired by the story of the Jíme Jih association and the kontusovka contained in the bottle itself. This the golden drink is often associated with the figure of the soldier Švejk. The symbolic pipe hand-gilded with 24K gold and the VINOLOK gold-colored glass cap represent not only the legacy of the story of the good soldier Švejk, but also highlight the golden Czech hands and the mastery of local craftsmen.

This is how an original collector’s edition of designer bottles was created, in which the traditional art of Czech glassmaking combines with the essence of South Bohemian herbs and the craft of distilling.

The unique South Bohemian kontusovka Jíme Jih is only available in the restaurants of the Jíme Jih association and František Jungvirt’s showroom, their e-shops.

In the limited collector’s edition of hand-blown bottles by František Jungvirt, only 53 bottles are prepared in total, which are also hand-numbered.

The following participated in the realization of the bottles: the Novotný Glass studio, Rückl glass factory, molder Zdenek Jicha, glass painter Romana Reindlová, etc.

Kontušovka made by destillery Lihovar Poněšice.

Glass stoper by VINOLOK.
