A delicate, cracked collectible vase-object with hot-glass modeled<\/strong> and hand-painted birds<\/strong> made of opaline glass<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Vase as\u00a0a work of art. Inspired by endangered bird species and habitats.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the Feather Animals<\/strong> collection, I was inspired by endangered bird<\/strong> species found in the Czech Republic<\/strong>. Birds such as the hawfinch<\/strong>, the goldfinch, the blue tit and others<\/strong> are perched on the surface of the vases. The vases themselves are based on my significant Garden collection. For Feather Animals, I chose a cracked surface<\/strong> for the vases with subtle color transitions evoking the individual seasons<\/strong>. The fine web of cracks even more strongly thematizes the fragility and vulnerability of the natural environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The vase is first mouth-blown into a wooden mold, underlayed with color and cracked. The glass animal is hand-modeled by glass master Martin \u0160tef\u00e1nek, then hand-painted by my hands<\/strong> and glued used hot glass<\/strong> and fixed to the vase.<\/strong><\/p>\n
