Cute yet eerie. In František Jungvirt’s Plush Animals and Dark Cave Animals collections of collectible vases, the designer captures two contrasting aspects of the animal kingdom. On one hand, there are creatures with striking, colorful patterns which often seem cute and harmless. They resemble plush animals that used to be our inseparable companions in childhood. On the other hand, there are those which strike fear into us and trigger phobias for some people.

Hand-modeled, realistic-looking 3D animals were made by glass master Martin Štefánek, in whose studio in Desná, Czech Republic the entire project of collector’s vases was realized.

The design of the exhibition stand was prepared by Jan Jaroš.
