Movie stars, musical prodigies, movie insiders. They all met on the tenth floor of the Spa Hotel Thermal to put themselves in the hands of beauty experts before entering the red carpet. That’s how she was ELLE Beauty Lounge Red!

“”During the International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary, which took place from June 30 to July 8, it was possible to meet the work of glass designer and artist František Jungvirt. His vases in red tones shone through this year’s ELLE Beauty Lounge RED.

The International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary is not only a film but also a social event every year. For a whole decade, it has included the ELLE Beauty Lounge, a salon for selected celebrities and VIP guests of the festival, which provides services in the fields of beauty, fashion and entertainment. This year, for the first time, it will open its second location in the Thermal Hotel – ELLE Beauty Lounge RED. The concept of the unmistakable red color, symbolizing the influx of fresh blood and the beating heart of the entire festival, was complemented by František Jungvirt by choosing his vases in red tones.

Among the pieces on display were, for example, the massive ruby ​​vase Wavy or the velvety matte Misty Garden from this year’s limited edition. Furthermore, František Jungvirt will create several unique vases and a collector’s jar for pomegranates, which were only made in a few numbered originals, exclusively for ELLE Beauty Lounge RED. The vases were distributed throughout the space, so the work of František Jungvirt accompanied the guests at every step. ”
