About project

With their simple shape, “COCO” vases/objects easily blend in with a minimalist, bohemian and elegantly furnished apartment. They are a feminine and masculine element, a combination of purity and luxury. A unique combination of white and black opal glass.

“Fashion fades, style remains.”

Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel (/ʃəˈnɛl/ shə-NEL; 19 August 1883 – 10 January 1971) was a French fashion designer and businesswoman. The founder and namesake of the Chanel brand, she was credited in the post-World War I era with popularizing a sporty, casual chic as the feminine standard of style. This replaced the “corseted silhouette” that was dominant beforehand with a style that was simpler, far less time consuming to put on and remove, more comfortable, and less expensive, all without sacrificing elegance. She is the only fashion designer listed on Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century.

Her credo was functionality, simplicity and luxury, which I also work with in my own design of glass vases and objects.

Yin and Yang principle.

The union of darkness and light, a symbol of equality. For me, it’s also a bit of a fashion world topic.

Yin (femininity, dark energy of power)

Yang (masculine, bright, creative force)

they are descriptions of complementary opposites that are not absolute.

All forces in nature have both two states, and these states are in constant motion. In the West, Yin and Yang are often portrayed inaccurately as “evil” and “good”. The interpretation of the symbol in the sense of colors is also incorrect – thai-chi tchu does not symbolize black and white (or red) colors as opposites (black is not the absence of white), but symbolizes darkness and light by analogy. Darkness reflects light and light reflects darkness.
