When beauty meets the art of travel. For DS Automobiles, František Jungvirt created 15 limited edition diffusers made of rare uranium glass that glow under UV light. The glass artist, who creates unique hand-blown glass products under his eponymous brand frantisek jungvirt, combines luxury, artistic overlap, historical legacy and the first-class quality of his products with our car company.

A unique vase-diffuser inspired by the story of strange flowers.

There are not many plants in the world that only open their flowers in the dark. Such flowers are pollinated by moths and often bloom in a single night. Curious cases among flowers that raise questions in us. Buds whose colorful beauty no one has ever admired and a scent that few have recognized.

Each vase-diffuser is hand blown into a wooden mold. The color transition in the glass is caused by the so-called coloring glass rubies, which are wrapped around the basic glass bulb when warm. The exact color and its distribution on the surface is unique for each vase. Each piece is blown separately and its final shape is different every time.

Thanks to the uranium component, the glass has a characteristic olive color and the ability to shine at night with the help of ultraviolet light.

A total of 15 limited pieces were created for DS Automobiles.
